Nordic VR Forum 2022

Last week, The Nordic VR Forum was held for the sixth time in Hamar in Norway.
At the Nordic VR Forum, everything revolves around immersive learning technologies: More precisely, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) and their use of it within health care, learning, training, gaming, city planning, metaverse, web3, and storytelling.

As a gold partner we were of course present with both a large stand and a contributor to the presentations and talks from the stage. Tuesday was health day for VR. Within health, VR is pioneering for training and lifelike exercises in virtual environments, we showed both the welfare apartment and the virtual medicine room, in addition to the Innlandet University of Applied science showing our solution for dialogue simulation.

How do you succeed on implementing VR?

On Tuesday, we held a workshop together with Making View where we gave four specific pieces of advice on how to get started with VR. Our ambassador, Lucie Furulund from Innlandet University of Applied Sciences also shared her experiences on how to get started in the best possible way. The session was interactive where the audience participated in Menti, who gave us insights into what understanding they had about getting started with VR in their company.
