Network requirements
For the best experience, a tethered network connection is preferred. However, Fynd CORE will also run on most wireless networks, such as 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi. All the connected users and participants in an online session will need a reliable internet connection, or they may risk stuttering or dropping out.
Bandwidth
Fynd CORE will run on most modern connections, however, expect longer loading times on slower connections. The required speeds also vary depending on the environment and objects in the active session; some environments and objects are more demanding than others and might take a very long time to load on slow connections.
Minimum
-
Download speed: 20 Mbps*
-
For engaging in voice chat, both download and upload speed: 40 Mbps
Recommended
-
Download speed: 50-100 Mbps
-
For engaging in voice chat, both download and upload speed: 80-160 Mbps
Note: streaming video or screen-sharing your desktop may require additional bandwidth depending on the content bitrate and might require upload and download speeds of up to 160 Mbps for a good experience.
*: Fynd CORE will technically work on slower speeds than this, however, the performance might not be acceptable below these speeds, as the downloadable assets will take a very long time to load into your session. Expect delays or drop-outs in voice chat at these speeds. Streaming video or screen-sharing will not work with acceptable performance at these speeds.
