How to Lock an Object

The lock feature in Fynd CORE allows you to prevent an object from being moved or edited. This is useful for maintaining the integrity of your scene and ensuring that important objects remain in place.

How to Lock an Object:

  1. Open the Context Menu: Right-click on the object you want to lock to open the context menu.
  2. Select Lock: Click on the "Lock" option in the context menu.

Effects of Locking:

  • Once an object is locked, it cannot be moved, resized, or rotated until it is unlocked.
  • The locked object will stay in its current position and size, preventing any accidental changes.

How to Unlock an Object:

  1. Open the Context Menu: Right-click on the locked object to open the context menu.
  2. Select Unlock: Click on the "Unlock" option to remove the lock and allow the object to be edited again.

Using the lock feature helps maintain a stable and organized scene, ensuring that critical objects remain fixed during your session.
