The Go-To tool

 

Go-To Points help guide users to specific locations in a scene. They are useful for directing movement in large or complex environments, such as training simulations or guided tours.

Creating a Go-To Point

  •  Name: Give the point a clear name.

  • Teleportation Alignment: Choose whether users will align at eye level or floor level.
  • Align Rotation: When enabled, users will face a set direction upon arrival. 
  • Visibility: Toggle whether the Go-To Point is visible in the scene.
  • User Placement: Choose if users will teleport to a single point, inside a circle, or along a circular path.
  • Finalize and Create: Once you've set all options, click the "Create" button to finalize and your go-to point will be added to the scene.


Placing the Go-To Point

  • After creating the go-to point, you can place it in the desired location
  • Grab the go-to point, by pressing and holding or with the gizmo.
  • Hold the go-to point, move to the desired location, and place the go-to point where you want it.

 

Navigating using Go-To point

  • Once placed, the go-to point will be available in the list.

  • Select the go-to point from the list to jump directly to that location within the scene
