Through the newly established growth and development company G64 Vekst, Kilde is investing in Fynd Reality.

"Fynd Reality is a serious and leading actor in new communication and learning technology. Through our strategy, Kilde wants to contribute to building the region and, continuously develop and renew ourselves. Here we see opportunities for both," says Kilde CEO Magne Nordgård.

Kilde is investing in Fynd Reality AS through its new investment company G64 Vekst. The investment is made in partnership with the regional seed fund First Seed, and a number of employees in Fynd have also chosen to invest further in the company. In total, Fynd is raising NOK 6.5 million in this round.

"We at Fynd Reality are very pleased to have solid regional owners like Kilde and First Seed on board. As the company now expands globally, this investment will strengthen our opportunities to scale much faster," says Knut Henrik Aas, CEO of Fynd Reality AS.

The national center for gaming, -VR an AR development

In recent years, the Hamar region and Innlandet have established themselves as a national center for the development of games, VR and AR solutions. The region also has a high density of companies in media and communication, with potentially great transfer value:

"Fynd Reality has developed a strong technology platform for faster learning and is well positioned for scaling. We are very interested in how VR and AR technology can be used in areas such as news reporting and storytelling, and we look forward to starting the collaboration," says Ståle Bråtebekken, who recently joined as CEO of G64 Vekst AS.

Both Kilde and Fynd Reality already participate in the business cluster VRINN, which includes about fifty companies collaborating on the use of VR, AR and "gamification" in areas such as training and learning. Kilde has recently gone through a repositioning and name change, with great ambitions for the future.
